Introduction

This is the slideshare reference from my presentation to the DC Lean Startup Circle on the fundamentals of Customer Development. This area is often overlooked for “sexier” concepts such as “MVP” or “pivoting”, but it is fundamental to the methodology.

This presentation explains the core concepts of Customer Development, describes common pitfalls in implementing, and provides a specific analytic framework for analyzing and interpreting the results. There are also some tips and tricks not found The Four Steps to the Epiphany or Running Lean.
